What is gold-filled?
Gold-filled jewellery gets created by pressure bonding an actual layer of gold to another metal, copper in our case. It won’t tarnish and will not rub off or turn colours. Wearers sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled without worrying about an allergic reaction. The layer of gold in gold-filled pieces is significantly thicker than regular gold plating. Gold-filled accessories can be worn daily without fear of fading or rubbing off.
